The members of Independent Mediators are delighted to announce that Kate has accepted their invitation to join the team with effect from 1st April 2015.
Dual qualified, Kate has nearly 20 years of dispute resolution experience, having worked as a litigation and dispute resolution lawyer with Allen & Overy LLP in London and with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York. Kate has also spent 2 spells working as a lawyer in investment banks (Morgan Stanley and Barclays).
Kate qualified as a Mediator in 2005 (CEDR) and started to develop her practice from that time. In 2009 she became a full time mediator. The success she has achieved in a short time has been exceptional and was recognised in both legal directories last year when she entered Band 2 of their lists of mediators:
