We are delighted to share some exciting news. Bill Marsh has been named the Lexology Index: Mediator of the Year 2025. The award was presented at a ceremony in London on 26 November 2025. The Lexology Index Awards recognise the individuals and firms that have performed exceptionally well in their research. After an in-depth assessment of their findings, they identify an individual and a firm of the year in each of their featured practice areas.
This is the fifth time that Bill has received this global award and 2025 marks the fourth consecutive year. For over thirty years Bill has been at the forefront of resolving complex conflicts and disputes, and conducted thousands of mediations, with governments, businesses, organisations, pressure groups, factions, and individuals from many parts of the world.
This global award is a magnificent achievement and cements Bill’s position as one of the leading mediators in Europe.
The 2025 awards were presented at a gala awards ceremony at the Merchant Taylors Hall in London, on 26 November 2025, attended by over 200 of the world’s leading lawyers and consulting experts. (Bill Marsh photographed receiving his award with Independent Mediators CEO Nicky Doble).
The winners are selected on a range of factors, including feedback received from clients and peers. Lexology Index lists only the leading practitioners in each field, based exclusively on the findings of an independent and in-depth research process that encompasses feedback from private practitioners, clients and other experts in the sector. It is impossible to buy entry into the reports, and only the practitioners who score most highly according to the independent international research criteria are listed.
