Chief Executive
David Douglas
Joint founder/director of Independent Mediators. David works to ensure Independent Mediators operates as effectively and efficiently as possible. His role includes responsibility for the strategic direction of the company and business development.
Practice Director
Nicky Doble
Nicky joined Independent Mediators in 2009 as Practice Manager and became Practice Director in 2013. Nicky is responsible for the marketing and administration of the company and ensuring that high customer service standards are maintained.
Practice Managers
Ryan Howell
Ryan joined Independent Mediators in 2012 as Practice Administrator and was made Practice Manager in 2014. Ryan is responsible for the day to day practice management of the mediators. This includes diary management, liaising with solicitors and clients on all aspects of the mediation from the venue to the provision of papers to the mediator and invoicing.
Jacky Young
Jacky joined Independent Mediators in 2014. Jacky is responsible for the day to day practice management of the mediators. This includes diary management and liaising with solicitors and clients on all aspects of new and existing mediations including fee quotes, venue arrangements, the provision of papers to the mediator and invoicing.
Pratice Administrators
Sandra Hart
Sandra joined Independent Mediators in 2011. Sandra provides support services for the Practice Managers and mediators and assists in the smooth running of Independent Mediators. This includes liaising with solicitors and clients regarding dates booked in the diary and processing payment of invoices.
Maureen McCarney
Maureen joined Independent Mediators in 2016. Maureen provides support services for the Practice Managers and mediators and assists in the smooth running of Independent Mediators. This includes assisting with day to day management of diary enquiries and processing payment of invoices.
