Nicholas Pryor and Bill Marsh were asked for their views on the future of mediation and arbitration in London for the City of London Corporation’s new report on the future of London; including its role as a leading dispute resolution hub. The report titled, ‘London Recharged; Our Vision for London in 2025’ was released earlier this month.
‘The City of London Corporation is dedicated to ensuring a vibrant and thriving Square Mile, within a diverse and sustainable London, as part of a globally successful UK. Now is the time to focus on the recovery. This report is our contribution to the work ongoing across London to make sure we emerge from this period better than before.’
The report focusses on financial services, professional services and the fast-growing tech sector. They examine how the City of London, and London more widely, can evolve and remain one of the best places in the world to do business. There is a section of the report dedicated to legal services called, ‘A vision for future legal services’ and within this a specific section on finance for the development of platforms for alternative dispute resolution.
